TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE SUPPLY OF GOODS
General Information
This website is maintained by Crome Internet Ltd. The following are terms and conditions of use of the site. We may change these conditions from time to time. You will be bound by changes even if you do not re-visit this page to re-read this notice.
Sales from this site are for UK residents only. In listing your place of residence and delivery address in our order form, you are confirming that you are a resident of the UK, a confirmation on which we rely prior to accepting your offer to purchase our advertised goods and services.

Placing and Order
The following terms and conditions will apply to all purchases of goods made by you from Forpaws ("Forpaws"). These Conditions comprise all the terms of the Contract between you and Forpaws for the good(s) described on the website. If you click the 'Submit' button, or accept or use the good(s), you shall be deemed to accept these Conditions, despite anything to the contrary stated in your order. A contract shall come into effect when Forpaws responds to you by email, or other form of written communication, upon receipt of an order from you using the website.
The Contract
Forpaws must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. All payments shall be made in Sterling. Once payment has been received, Forpaws will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Forpaws's acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding Contract between you and Forpaws. No variation of the Contract shall have effect unless agreed in writing by you and Forpaws.
Price and Payment
The prices payable for the Goods that you order are as set out in the Website, and where appropriate are inclusive of VAT. You will be required to pay extra for delivery and it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. Price and availability of goods is subject to change without notice.
Forpaws accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo and Maestro credit/debit card payment.
An order confirmation will be sent by email on or before (but no later than) delivery of your good(s).
Right for you to cancel your Contract and Return Goods
You may cancel your Contract with us for the goods you order at any time up to the end of the seventh working day from the date you receive the ordered goods. The only exception is where goods have been made to your specification.
On cancellation within the stated time, payments made by you will be refunded within 30 days. All goods for return must be returned complete, in perfect condition, unused and with the original packaging.
You will be required to arrange and pay for return of the goods. When returning goods please include the dispatch note that you received with them and clearly write on the reverse whether you require a refund or exchange.
We recommend that you obtain proof of dispatch as we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in transit. We will only refund or provide an exchange for the carriage costs where the item is faulty.
Cancellation by us
Forpaws reserve the right to cancel this Contract if we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered. You will be notified by e-mail and we will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order.
Delivery of Goods to you
Stock permitting, all orders will be delivered within five working days which exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. For next day delivery orders must be placed by 1.00pm between Sunday and Thursday for delivery between Monday and Friday.
All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change.
Forpaws accept no liability for loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) for delivery at any time other than the estimated date for delivery.
Delivery charges are as follows:
All orders processed will be despatched within 48 hours of receipt if in stock. Items purchased will be sorted by weight to identify the most suitable delivery option. Delivery options include: Royal mail standard or heavy parcel and courier . Delivery is estimated between 2-5 working days.
A modest cost for packaging is included in all the P & P cost.
National P & P Costs (Based on total order weight):
For additional Insurance cover up to value of £100.00 add £2.25
Exceptions – Some items have specific carriage charges and lead times which are noted on the product details.
Orders generally will be despatched by either Royal Mail Special Delivery or by City Link couriers. A signature is required for all deliveries so it is your responsibility to ensure that there is someone available to receive goods at the delivery address you give us.
All goods are insured in transit and any claims for damages must be made to the carrier at the time of delivery, so the goods must be checked before signing for receipt. In the event of any breakages it is necessary to sign and state “received damaged” on the carriers manifest. The damaged items must be retained in case the carrier wishes to reclaim the package. You must notify Forpaws of receipt of damaged goods within seven working days, and we will replace your goods as soon as we can.
You must notify Forpaws within seven working days of delivery in respect of any shortfall or incorrect specification being delivered. If you do not notify Forpaws within seven working days following delivery the good(s) shall be deemed in accordance with the order placed by you and completely satisfactory.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and Forpaws will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
Liability
All good(s) are sold in accordance with Forpaws's specification contained in the Website.
Forpaws warrants that the good(s) will correspond with their specification in the website but does not make any other promises or warranties about the good(s).
Forpaws shall be under no liability under the above warranty (or any other warranty, condition or guarantee) if the total price for the Good(s) has not been paid.
If the Goods Forpaws deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Forpaws shall have no liability to you unless you notify us within 7 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.
If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, Forpaws shall have no liability to you unless you notify Forpaws of the problem within 40
days of the date on which you ordered the goods. If you notify a problem to us under this condition, our only obligation will be, at your option:
consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to Forpaws under this condition. Forpaws shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the Goods in question.
You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of Forpaws’s goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. Forpaws make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the Goods you purchase.
Forpaws shall accept no liability for the use of the good(s) by you other than in accordance with Forpaws's instructions. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these Conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
You will indemnify Forpaws against all loss, damages, costs and expenses awarded against or incurred by Forpaws in connection with any claim paid or agreed to be paid by Forpaws as a consequence of the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
Forpaws shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver Goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to Goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond Forpaws’s reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
Privacy
You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy which can be seen on the website.
Data Protection Statement
Forpaws will use the information you provide to respond to your query. We will also use your information to look at ways in which this website, and our services to our customers, can be improved and for the purpose of administration.
Forpaws may also wish to use the information we hold about you to send you details by e-mail, telephone, fax or conventional post of new products and services offered by Forpaws and which we think may be of interest to you. Third party rights
Except for our affiliates, directors, employees or representatives, a person who is not a party to this Contract has no right under the UK Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this Contract but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available apart from that Act.
Governing Law
This contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes.
Entire agreement
These Conditions, together with our current Website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy and data protection policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these Conditions or as an authorized representation about the nature or quality of any Goods offered for sale by Forpaws. Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, Forpaws shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
